Details of Buffalo CloudStor powered,HP Compaq 8710P Battery

User Interface and Features

Buffalo's web-based interface is a model of simplicity. Along the left side is a menu that lets you view the drive by content type (Movies, Music, and Photos), or by when it was uploaded to the drive. Content is arranged by the date it was created, but a search box at the top lets you find content by name.(HP Compaq 8510W Battery)

As you upload content to the drive, it automatically creates thumbnails of each file, so it's easy to see what they are at a glance. Even better, if you mouse over a video, it will start playing in its window. At the bottom of each thumbnail are icons that let you preview, download, delete, or share the file. All of this makes navigating the drive so easy that we hardly used the desktop app again. Although Iomega's web-based interface also creates thumbnails, its more traditional file-tree organization feels less friendly.(HP Compaq 8510P Battery)

It's easy to share files, too; simply click the green Share icon at the bottom of a file or folder, and enter the e-mail addresses of those you'd like to share the file(s) with; you can even publish the files to Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.(HP ProBook 6545B Battery)

The CloudStor has some other neat features, including the ability to create slideshows by dragging and dropping photos or videos, and even setting them to music. As with individual files, you can then share the slideshow with others by entering their e-mail addresses. The CloudStor also has a built-in BitTorrent manager, which will automatically download torrents to the drive.(HP Compaq 8710P Battery)

Design

Measuring 8.1 x 5.1 x 3.4 inches, the CloudStor is about twice as thick as the Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive, but that's because the Buffalo device can accommodate two 3.5-inch drives. Ours came with a single 2TB drive, but the front face removes easily if you want to add a second one. As befitting a device that's designed to blend in with the rest of your tech, the CloudStor is all black, with three small blue status lights on the front.(hp elitebook 8740w battery)

Around back is a power plug, Ethernet port, and a USB 2.0 port should you want to add another external drive, or network a printer.

Apps

All of this combines to make one of the most user-friendly NAS drives out there, but Buffalo goes one step further with its free mobile app (for Android, BlackBerry, iOS, and webOS). Just be sure to download the PogoPlug app, not the Buffalo WebAccess app. We used the iPad app for our testing.(hp elitebook 8540p battery)

Once we signed into the PogoPlug app on our iPad, we browsed our movies, music, and photos just as we could on our desktop. The app also lets you download content to, and upload content from, your mobile device. It's a neat way to virtually expand the size of your tablet or phone's storage.(toshiba pa3356u-1brs battery)

We did encounter a few glitches, though. We couldn't view the slideshow we'd created via the app, and when we would open the Settings menu, we couldn't close it, no matter what button we pressed. We had to relaunch the app to close the menu.(toshiba pa3356u-1bas battery)

Details of Alienware M14x,Akku HP Compaq 8710P

It’s been close to 3 weeks since we last heard about the Alienware M14x and M18x, but thanks to a recent review by Chinese tech-website zol.com, the M14x picture has gotten a lot clearer. According to the first part of the review, the M14x appears to have received the same Sandy Bridge upgrades as its M11x and the M17x counterparts and will also come with NVIDIA graphics. Unfortunately, there is now word about the 18" Alienware laptop yet.(Akku HP Compaq 8710P)

Dell’s Alienware laptops have usually offered top of the line performance and the M14x looks to be the same. According to the review, the laptop will be powered by a Sandy Bridge Core i7-2820QM processor, an NVIDIA GT555M GPU, and up to a 750GB 7200RPM hard drive. The 14” laptop will come with a 1366x768 pixel resolution display and 2GB of RAM but can be upgraded to feature a Full HD (1920x1080 pixel) display and 4GB of RAM. For those looking to further upgrade their laptop, it should be customizable with another 2 solid-state drives to increase storage and performance.(Akku HP Compaq 8510W)

Of course, no Alienware laptop is complete without neon lighting for the keyboard and speakers, and the M14x doesn’t appear to have been spared. The notebook should be available in Red and Black Nebula colors and will also have Klipsch speakers similar to the M17x.(Akku HP Compaq 8510P)

For those that may find the M11x too small and the M17x too big, Dell should be providing an alternative option in the M14x. Unfortunately, the official announcement about the laptop has yet to be made, but with reviews popping up online we shouldn’t have to wait too long now.(Akku Dell Vostro 2510)

New study shows frustration amongst developers over Android fragmentation

A Q1 2011 study conducted by Baird venture capitalist William Powers surveyed 250 active app developers on their general experiences with the Android and iOS platforms. In short, 86% of respondents found the fragmentation of Google’s Android to be anywhere between somewhat problematic and extremely problematic.(Akku HP Pavilion DM4)

According to Powers, iOS is the preferred platform for app development due to its ease of development, recognition, unified App Store, and profitability.

The Android fragmentation means developers must take into account the myriad of Android-equipped devices in the market, and what these devices are and are not capable of. Optimizing apps for the different processors, available RAM, screen sizes, and graphics chips are all additional challenges that developers face when programming Android apps. This is in comparison to the ease of developing for the Apple iOS, where much fewer types of devices are involved.(Akku HP Pavilion DM4T)

Additionally, some Android apps just cannot run on certain devices if those models are unable to update to higher versions. Even though Android commands a large percentage of the mobile market, Over 30% of those users are still using Android 2.1 or lower as of April 1 2011, according to Android.com. To exclude over a third of the entire user base is definitely something developers would want to avoid.(Akku Thinkpad X61)

Details of Visioneer Mobility,HP Compaq 8510P Battery

Design

Measuring 11.5 x 2.8 x 2 inches and weighing 1.4 pounds, the Visioneer Mobility scanner is slightly smaller than the Visioneer Strobe 500 (11.7 x 2.8 x 3.3, 2.2 pounds), but it lacks the bulky docking station of the latter. The Mobility's length means it won't fit in any but the largest of handbags, but it will easily slip into a backpack or any piece of carry-on luggage.(HP Compaq 8510P Battery)

We like the sleek but simple design of the Mobility. The top is a glossy white plastic, while the underside is matte black. Combined with its long and thin dimensions, the black-and-white color scheme lends the portable scanner a fashionable, if not high-end, look. Some might not like that the Visioneer logo and the product name are located in the center of the scanner's lid.(HP ProBook 6545B Battery)

The Visioneer Mobility has two buttons: one for powering the device on and off, and one for toggling between the scanner's three modes. Both buttons are located on the Mobility's glossy white top. Around back are an SD card slot, a miniUSB port, and a USB port. Visioneer includes a 2GB SD card with the scanner. While this is helpful, frequent scanners will need to invest in more storage space.(hp elitebook 8740w battery)

Performance

The Mobility scans items between 2 x 2 inches and 8.5 x 11.7 inches. The scanner offers three output modes: black and white or color PDFs at 300 dpi, or color JPEGs at 300 dpi. By comparison, the Visioneer Strobe 500 can output scans to BMP, JPG, PDF, sPDF, and TIFF formats. The Mobility scanner can only take one sheet of paper at a time, which means scanning longer documents could be an ordeal. There's also no duplexer, so double-sided pages will need to be scanned twice. Visioneer says the Mobility can scan approximately 300 color 8.2 x 11.7-inch pages per battery charge.(hp elitebook 8540p battery)

In our hands-on time with the Mobility, it operated smoothly. It took 8 seconds to scan a 8.5 x 11 document and 9.5 seconds to scan an 8.5 x 11 color photo. Scanning a business card took just 6 seconds, which is on a par with the Strobe 500, and the scanner had no trouble detecting items of any size.(toshiba pa3356u-1brs battery)

Quality varied depending on the document scanned. Black-and-white text pages came out accurately. A color PDF scan of the Visioneer instruction manual had slightly muted, bluer tones than the original, but offered plenty of detail. Our scanned business card contained the correct colors, though we noticed some streaking. Scanning images in black and white was another story: A color image of a car on a highway was almost impossible to make out, as the scanned copy came out mostly black. Scanning this same picture in color gave us much better results; the image was much more detailed, though the colors appeared slightly washed out.(toshiba pa3356u-1bas battery)

Want to paying 3X,please sign up,Akku HP nw9440

News Corp., Scripps Networks, Akku Lenovo thinkpad T500 and Viacom claim the free TWCable TV for iPad app represents a contract violation and have told Time Warner to stop streaming their channels because it’s not covered under the current licensing agreement. Apparently, wanting to take that episode of The Daily Show into the bathroom should command a premium on top of the $75 subscribers already pay per month on average for TV. And did I mention that to get this app you also need to be paying for Internet service? Between cable Akku Lenovo thinkpad T400 and Internet, I fork over $173 per month. How many times should we have to pony up for the same content viewed at the same address? Um, how about once?!

For now, the Time Warner app only streams live TV, but the cable provider promises to add support for video on demand and the ability to set your DVR on the go. Streaming DVR playback could be an option down the road, but not right now. According to The New York Times, Cablevision’s upcoming app will be much more robust (read: threatening), transplanting “every existing channel Akku Lenovo thinkpad T410 and video-on-demand option to the iPad.” Variety says Cablevision’s app will also let subscribers access content stored on their DVRs. Verizon and Comcast are also working on streaming apps for the iPad, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they put those efforts on hold when Time Warner gets taken to court.

If cable and TV providers attempt to make such services mobile to extend beyond your abode, they could seriously erode revenue from premium services such as Amazon, Hulu Plus, iTunes, Akku Lenovo thinkpad T61 and Netflix, which, in turn, could impact the bottom lines of movie and TV studios. But the way Time Warner sees it, its app is a way of keeping the money flowing to the channel owners at a time when more customers are contemplating cutting the cord. I agree, but I’m not willing to pay more for this convenience within the home. If cable Akku Lenovo thinkpad R61 and satellite providers want to tack on a true portability tax, similar to what MLB does, then I might be willing to pay a little extra.

In other licensing disagreement news, this week Amazon ruffled more than a few feathers in the music biz by rolling out a new digital locker service. Users can upload tracks they’ve purchased Akku Lenovo thinkpad R60 and then stream them via the new Amazon Cloud Player for web or Android. You get 5GB of storage for free, but if you purchase an album from Amazon MP3, that allotment gets bumped to 20GB. What’s the big deal? Amazon didn’t secure additional music licenses (money) from the music labels. I’m not a legal expert, but I don’t understand why more licenses would be required for something I already own.

This is what Amazon told paidContent: “We do not need a license to store music in Cloud Drive. The functionality of saving MP3s to Cloud Drive is the same as if a customer were to save their music to an external hard drive or even iTunes.” The labels see things differently, of course. That’s because users can re-download tracks to multiple devices without any additional charges. Meanwhile, both Apple Akku Lenovo thinkpad T60 and Google are reportedly readying music locker services of their own, and word is that at least Apple is negotiating to obtain additional licenses.

Google To Tighten Control Over Android Juggernaut

Folks have lamented the dangers of Android fragmentation for years, Akku Lenovo thinkpad T60P and Google seems to be doing something about it. First, it was the move to delay the Honeycomb source code release to developers, and now Google sources close to Business Week say the company is enforcing “non-fragmentation” partnership clauses to put the kibosh on unauthorized Android tweaks.

Understandably this has manufacturers Akku Lenovo thinkpad R60E and software companies hot and bothered, with even Facebook allegedly confirming complaints to Google about its micromanaged oversight of a rumored Facebook handset running on Android .

Details of Acer Iconia 6120,acer aspire 3680 battery

Design

The Acer Iconia 6120 has a fairly sophisticated look. The lid batterymag.co.uk and bottom are both a champagne-colored metal. The bottom, one solid panel, has two rows of small square cutouts for ventilation and speakers , and can be removed easily with two sliding latches. There are only two physical buttons on the Iconia: The right hinge has a power button, Replacement Dell Laptop Battery and the left hinge activates the virtual keyboard. The Iconia's two touchscreens are each 14 inches, surrounded by a glossy black bezel.

While the Iconia's dimensions13.5 x 9.7 x 1.2 inchesare typical for a 14-inch system, the notebook is on the heavy side: 6 pounds. We definitely noticed it carrying it home in a messenger bag. That's the price you pay for two displays.

While we weren't able to type as fast on the Iconia 6120 as with a real keyboard, we did manage a fairly quick rate after about half an hour of practice, so much so that a fair amount of this review was written using the virtual keyboard. We had to be much more careful with what we did with our non-typing fingers, though. Any errant grazing of the screen, Sony Laptop Battery and we'd end up with a wrong letter. Overall, we made many more mistakes compared to a traditional keyboard, but it worked.

Display and Audio

The dual 14-inch (1366 x 768) displays on the Iconia 6120 are made out of the more durable Gorilla Glass. The fingerprint-resistant coating helped somewhat, but you'll want to keep a cloth handy. Both screens have a glossy finish, but that only proved to be an issue with the upper display, as its vertical orientation reflected more lights. Colors were somewhat muted; while watching the trailer for Captain America, the red, white, vostro 1400 battery and blue of the uniform didn't really pop. Horizontal viewing angles were good enough so that three people would be able to comfortably see the screen, but vertical viewing angles were quite narrow. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but when you consider that the display can tilt back 180 degrees to lie flat on a table, it becomes an issue.

Heat

After playing a Hulu video for 15 minutes at full screen on the Iconia 6120, the area around the virtual touchpad measured 87 degrees Fahrenheit, the space between the G Pavilion DV6500 Battery and H keys was 90 degrees, and the middle of the underside was 95 degrees. That last measurement is on the border of what we consider uncomfortable.

Ports and Webcam

On the left side of the Iconia 6120 are two USB 2.0 ports, as well as HDMI. On the right is a USB 3.0 port, Ethernet, VGA, headphone Dell Latitude D620 Battery and mic (which doubles as an S/PDIF port), and a Kensington lock slot. Sadly, there's no SD card slot. (Seriously.)

iOS 5 Probably Won’t Be Released Until the Fall

According to MG Siegler over at TechCrunch, the next iteration of iOS, the operating system that powers the iPhone, iPod Touch Akku Lenovo thinkpad T410 and iPad, won’t be announced this spring to coincide with the year’s iPhone model. Instead, iOS 5 will start making its way onto the iPhone and iPad sometime in the fall. There’s no need for doom and gloom, however, because the reason iOS 5 is being delayed is that Apple’s potentially rolling out some important new features that it needs more time to develop.

iOS 5 is rumoured to be a “major revamp,” Akku Lenovo thinkpad T61 and its launch will likely coincide with the release of a new type of iPad. It will be heavily cloud-based, and several new services may launch with this new iteration, including a “music locker” service which could allow for remote storage of your songs, and “a location service that focuses on finding friends and family members.”

Siegler speculates about the unannounced-but-likely iPhone 5, saying that even if iOS 5 isn’t ready for the standard iPhone launch window, it should itself be announced on schedule, with a summer launch date.

Samsung’s Series 9 Laptop

Samsung has just confirmed the price of its brand-new-and-attractive Series 9 notebook, and it’s pretty good: $1,199 will get you a laptop made with something called Duralumin, which Samsung describes as “the New Definition of Lightweight.” It’s certainly a nice looking laptop, both inside Akku Lenovo thinkpad R61 and out: it’s got an Intel i5 380UM processor, Intel’s HD Graphics 3000, and comes standard with a 64GB Solid State Drive (SSD).

Details of Galaxy Tab 8.9 surface

It was suspenseful while it lasted, but it looks like Samsung’s secret is out of the bag. The much hyped 8.9” Samsung Galaxy Tab appears to have been all but officially confirmed, thanks to a few sneaky member of the press that managed to snag a look at Samsung’s booth hp elitebook 8740w battery and photograph some relevant place cards.

Samsung has been promoting their newest tablet for the past month or so with various teaser images hp elitebook 8540p battery and videos. Unfortunately, the media provided by Samsung was vague and only provided flashes of the tablet without any specs. However, thanks to the photos taken, it appears the tablet is indeed an 8.9” Galaxy Tab featuring a 1280x800 pixel resolution WXVGA display. Samsung also appears to have bested Apple in the slimness department by .2mm (8.6mm thickness for the 8.9” Tab compared to 8.8mm in the iPad 2) toshiba pa3356u-1brs battery and the device should weigh only 470g.

Another tidbit detailed by the images appears to be an unnamed 1GHz dual-core CPU taking care of the processing capabilities. While the CPU model is unknown it will most likely be either a Tegra 2 processor found in the Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Samsungs own dual-core processor. Otherwise, true to typical Samsung tablet naming practices, the device will be known as the Galaxy Tab 8.9 toshiba pa3356u-1bas battery and should also be the first tablet to receive a custom UI on top of the Honeycomb interface. Most tablets tend to stick to the stock Android experience, but Samsung seems to be changing things up with their own customizations. The added content includes a “Live Panel” home screen hp presario cq72 battery and a “Mini Apps Tray” that provides easy switching between apps.

Unfortunately, the actual device wasn’t lying around anywhere Lenovo ideapad u550 battery and we’ll have to make do with the place cards for now. Thankfully, the Samsung conference tomorrow in Orlando should provide all the necessary info and more; so make sure to stay tuned for news about the official announcement.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer to debut

For those out there anxiously awaiting Asus’s Eee Pad Transformer tablet, the wait might soon be over. According to a Facebook status on the Asus Club page, the tablet should begin selling in Taiwan as soon as this Friday, March 25th.

Although Asus first announced the tablet would be released in April, they appear to be bending the rules a bit for their home country. The Facebook status which reads: “Only four days left before the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer launch in Taiwan. Are you ready for it?” popped up earlier on the Facebook page but hp g72 battery lacked any word about a release in other countries. However, Engadget managed to get ahold of the ASUS rep. in the US who confirmed that the Transformer should be coming stateside in early April.

The Eee Pad transformer is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, a 10.1” IPS display with a 1280x800 pixel resolution, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, hp envy 17 battery and should be available in 16GB and 32GB flavors. What sets the tablet apart from its colleagues is a keyboard dock that attaches to the tablet and “Transforms” it into a laptop. However, it is yet to be seen how smoothly the dock will be able to interface with the Honeycomb OS.

Asus first targeted a $400-$700 price range for the tablet hp g62 battery and a magazine ad by Spanish reseller “The Phone House” appears to confirm that. The ad listed a €400($570) launch price for the dock-less tablet but didn’t provide any info about what the complete package will eventually cost. While a global launch should come soon enough, those unable to wait can head on over to Taiwan to pick up a Transformer for themselves.

Motorola announces Wi-Fi Xoom release date for Canada

While the Xoom has already launched here in the States with the Wi-Fi only model coming later this month, Motorola has now announced the availability of the Wi-Fi only model for Canada. Prospective buyers can expect to get their hands on the tablet starting April 6th for around $600 CAD (=$614 US / 432 €). Electronics stores Future Shop vgp-bps13as and Best Buy are already taking pre-orders for the device online.

Unfortunately for Canada, Motorola has yet to officially release the 3G version of the Xoom for the country. Whereas the 3G model was released first before the Wi-Fi model in the U.S., it appears the order will be in reverse for Canada. The mobile network Telus is expected to be the carrier for the Xoom when the 3G tablet releases sometime mid 2011.

The Motorola Xoom is a 10.1-inch tablet with a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM VGP-BPS13B/S and Android 3.0. The device has since been updated with Adobe Flash 10.2 and LTE support.

Dell Alienware M11x R3 details leak

Right off the heels of the recent Alienware m14x VGP-BPS10/B and m18x rumors come even more rumors about the existing Alienware m11x laptop. These new leaks suggest that a 2011 revision for the 11.6-inch laptop could be coming soon, complete with Sandy Bridge processors and even 3G or 4G broadband support.

According to PCWorld, the new m11x R3 could be sporting an overclockable Core i5-2537M, Core i7-2617M, or a Core i7-2657M Ultra Low Voltage processor. In comparison, the current m11x R2 model supports either a Core i5-520UM or Core i7-640UM, while the older R1 laptop uses a now relatively outdated Core 2 Duo processor. Other specifications, such as the RAM, will be upgraded to 1333MHz from 800MHz, but resolution VGP-BPS10A and HDD options are expected to remain the same as before at 1366x768 pixels and up to 750GB.

Nokia receives patents for 2 tablet designs

Rumored Nokia tablets aren’t anything new, although the most recent suggestions do provide some sketches to look at. According to a couple of patents granted by the United States Patent VGP-BPS13/S and Trademark Office (USPTO) today, 2 different Nokia tablet designs have been approved. Unfortunately, the application for these designs was around a year ago (May 28th 2010) and they might not ever amount to much; especially after Nokia let go of its Meego OS.

The first tablet resembles the Nokia N8 a lot VGP-BPS22 and actually appears to be an oversized version of it. If the sketch is to be believed, the tablet would have been roughly the thickness of a 3.5mm headphone jack and would have come with what appears to be an SD card slot. As for the 2nd sketch, it’s a bit more curvaceous than the first and looks like it has a wider bezel as well. Both designs seem to be in the 9 to 10 inch mold VGP-BPS22A and don’t appear to have more than one physical button.

Unfortunately, given the application date on these tablet designs it looks like they never became more than simple sketches. In addition, Slashgear.com’s sources indicate that one of the tablets was proposed to certain European carriers who were “unimpressed” and weren’t interested in the device. While we definitely would have looked forward to seeing MeeGo OS running on a tablet, it appears that opportunity has come VGP-BPS21 and gone and we’ll have to wait and see if Nokia decides to release any Windows Phone 7 tablets in the future.

Apple postpones iPad 2 launch in Japan

The recent mega-tsunami that struck Northeastern Japan last week continues to disrupt many technology companies VGP-BPS21A and their manufacturing chain. Now, new releases on the archipelago island may be delayed as well, including Apple’s iPad 2.

“We are delaying the launch of the iPad 2 in Japan while the country Akku thinkpad T410 and our teams focus of recovering from the recent disaster” said Apple spokesperson Natalie Kerris. While the disaster is expected to cause worldwide supply issues for certain manufacturers, Kerris pointed out that the decision to delay the iPad 2 launch was not due to component shortages. Analysts, however, say that Apple could eventually be having supply issues with flash memory if the crisis continues.

For iTunes users wanting to help families affected by the tsunami, Apple has added an option in the iTunes Store to accept donations ranging from $5 up to $200. 100% of all collected funds will go to the American Red Cross, Akku thinkpad T61P who in turn will provide aid to disaster victims.

About 5 percent of Apple’s revenue last quarter Akku thinkpad R61E was from sales in Japan, according to Reuters. Revenue from the country rose to $1.4 billion during this period.

The original Japanese launch date of the iPad 2 was slated for March 25th, but Apple has yet to announce the revised launch date for the region. Launch delays elsewhere were not mentioned Akku thinkpad T61 and are still on schedule.

more information about HTC Thunderbolt

Performance

Inside the dm1-3110eg, a dual-core AMD E-350 processor provides the necessary power. It has an integrated graphics card Akku Lenovo thinkpad T61 and memory controller, and was developed specially for small notebooks and netbooks. It is the direct competitor to Intel’s Atom processors.

The processor has access to 3 GB of RAM, divided into a 1 GB module Akku Lenovo thinkpad R61 and a 2 GB module. The pre-installed 32 Bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium is sufficient for this amount of memory. On the underside of the base unit, an access panel allowing easy exchange of the two RAM modules can be found, unlike information on the HP website, of which there is none. In principle the processor’s memory controller could support an upgrade to up to 8 GB of RAM. Whether it would make any sense to do so is a different matter, however.

Our netbook uses the integrated HD 6310 graphics chip. With its 80 shaders Akku Lenovo thinkpad R60 and a UVD3 video processor, you would expect it to outperform the Intel GMA 3150 graphic chip in Atom processors. You would expect it to reach the level of an ION graphics unit in terms of graphics performance.

We now take a look at the results of the CPU benchmarks. The SuperPi programme needed 51 seconds to calculate Pi to a million decimal places, 113 seconds for two million decimal places Akku Lenovo thinkpad T60 and finally 2539 seconds for 32 million places. This puts the E-350 CPU between 89 and 98 percent faster for these single-core calculations than laptops with the Intel Atom N550 processor. For this comparison we used the Acer Aspire One D255 (1m: 101s, 2m: 222s, 32m: 4893s) Akku Lenovo thinkpad T60P and the Asus Eee PC 1015PN (1m: 97s, 2m: 218s, 32m: 4793s). The dual-core C-50 CPU, also from AMD, beats the E-350 by between 46 and 50 percent (Toshiba NB550D: 1m: 76s, 2m: 170s, 32m: 3716s). The Atom D525 CPU works a little more slowly than the C-50, with the E-350 beating it by around 58% (Asus Lamborghini VX6: 1m: 80s, 2m: 178s, 32m: 4011s). Finally, the AMD K125 CPU in the Aspire One 521 is at roughly the same level as the E-350 in the SuperPi benchmark.

The 3DMark06 test’s CPU score gave the following results: our Pavilion dm1-3180 netbook finished with 985 points, just ahead of the Asus Lamborghini VX6 which had 953 points. The Asus Eee PC 1015PN is next with 814 points (21% advantage for the dm1), followed by the Aspire One 521 with 753 points (31% advantage for the dm1), the Acer Aspire One D255 (732 points, 35% advantage for the dm1), Akku Lenovothinkpad R60E and thoroughly beaten in last place, the Toshiba NB550D (AMD Fusion C-50) with 625 points (58% lead for the dm1).

As a final CPU-orientated test we used the rendering parts of the Cinebench R10 benchmarks. In the single rendering, the E-350 processor works about twice as fast as an Atom N550. This advantage drops to about 40 or 45 percent in the multicore rendering, compared with the Acer Aspire One D255 and the Asus Eee PC 1015PN respectively. The C-50 CPU in the Toshiba NB550D (AMD Fusion) is beaten by the dm1-3180eg by 67% (single rendering) Akku Lenovo thinkpad R61I and 72% (multi-rendering). The next candidate, the Asus Lamborghini VX6 (D525), which achieved a better CPU score in the 3DMark06 test, has to admit defeat here (the dm1 beats it by 70% in the single rendering and 21% in the multi-rendering). The K125 is an entry-level single-core processor made by AMD; with it, the Acer Aspire One 521 achieves a score 29% better than the E-350 processor in our review model in the CineBench single rendering test.

During typical netbook activities, like internet Akku Lenovo thinkpad R61E and office use, the case remains cool all over. As the load increases on the CPU, the temperature rises. The maximum readings were taken during a stress test lasting several hours and involving 100% CPU Akku Lenovo thinkpad T61P and GPU usage. But even in this situation the work surfaces always remained cool. Parts of the underside did reach more than 40 degrees C, meaning that it is not advisable to have it on your lap when it is working at full stretch. However, even the stress brought on by graphics-intensive games was not as high as the level during this stress test. Inside the netbook, the temperature of the graphics card and processor rose to a maximum of 78 and 77 degrees C respectively, which is still in the unconcerning range.

Autopsy on the Panasonic Toughbook S9

Keyboard and Touchpad

In order to make room for the laptop's unique flip-up DVD burner, the ToughBook S9's keyboard occupies less than half the length of its deck. As a result, the keys are small, short,Sony VGP-BPS13 Battery and quite close together. You'll have to adjust to this layout. Even so, the keys have substantial travel and provide a pleasing soft click. There's also no flex at all.

The S9's circular touchpad (1.8 inches in diameter) is definitely a departure from the rectangular ones we typically see, but it functions as advertised. While it doesn't support fancy multitouch gestures like many other laptops, it will allow smooth circular scrolling within documents Sony VGP-BPS13A/B Battery and web pages. Cursor movement was also responsive. The notebook's two discrete mouse buttons are small but easy to press.

Durability

What you're really paying $2,649 for is what Panasonic calls business-rugged construction, meaning the Toughbook S9 is designed to withstand the typical abuse laptops can suffer in work environments or on the road. Basically, the S9 can take one or two nasty drops during its life span, specifically from a height of 2.5 feet (while powered)(Sony VGP-BPS13A/S Battery,Sony VGP-BPS9 Battery,Sony VGP-BPS9A/B Battery,Sony VGP-BPS9/B Battery,Sony VGP-BPS9/S Battery ) onto its base. The notebook should also be able to handle drops from 1 foot (while turned off) onto hard surfaces, hitting each of the notebook's corners.

Aside from the magnesium construction, the S9's LCD Sony VGP-BPS13B/B Battery and hard drive are built to absorb shocks using rubber pads and flexible connectors. In addition, the notebook can take 220 pounds of direct pressure on its lid. The keyboard is also spill-resistant. Lenovo ThinkPad laptops such as the X220 have features such as shock-mounted hard drives, magnesium-reinforced chassis, and spill-resistant keyboards, but they don't offer similar guarantees against drops.

To test the S9's toughness, we dropped the notebook once from a height of 2.5 feet (while powered) onto its base. We then placed a plank Sony VGP-BPS13S of plywood on the floor, powered down the laptop, and let the CF-S9 fall from a distance of 1 foot, impacting the plank from various angles. After that, we upped the ante by having a 210-pound person stand on the S9's lid with the plywood plank sitting in between, evenly distributing the weight. According to Panasonic, these pressure tests simulate everyday occurrences such as a laptop being crushed in overhead bins or sat on accidentally. Lastly, we poured 6 ounces of water on the notebook's keyboard, let it sit for a few minutes, then drained the water as best we could. Impressively, the ToughBook S9 ran this gauntlet with no discernible damage Sony VGP-BPS13/S or impaired operation.

Besides durability, Panasonic offers a few security features on the ToughBook S9. These include a TPM security chip to help protect passwords from software threats Sony VGP-BPS13B/S and an optional fingerprint reader for biometeric authentication. There's also a Computrace Agent in the system BIOS to help locate the laptop if it's misplaced or stolen.

Design

Weighing just 3 pounds, the ToughBook S9 is easy to take anywhere. The 12.1-inch laptop certainly has a very compact footprint (12.8 x 9.9 inches), but at almost two inches thick at its widest point, it's a bit chunky. The S9 has a sturdy magnesium alloy chassis, Sony VGP-BPS13AS and we like the black-and-sliver lid. The laptop's interior is a solid metallic silver color, complete with Panasonic's trademark circular touchpad and a flip-open DVD burner hidden in the laptop's right wrist rest.

New laptop come out! Epson Artisan 835 All-in-One

PrintJinni and Epson iPrint

The Artisan 835 All-in-One works with two free iOS Epson apps: Epson iPrint thinkpad r61 battery and PrintJinni. (Sorry, no Android support for now.) iPrint works over Wi-Fi to print photos stored in an iPad or iPhone's gallery, thinkpad t400 battery and PrintJinni prints Word docs, PDFs, spreadsheets, and other files attached to e-mail messages. While they offer more functionality than other printers' iOS apps, most of which only let you print photos, we wish Epson would combine these apps into one.

PrintJinni searches for e-mail attachments that were sent between the present Thinkpad T410 Battery and a specified past date. Finding the right file can be tough; an end date can't be specified, so it takes a long time to look for attachments. Searching three months of messages uncovered a list of 3,071 pictures and documents, and it took PrintJinni 22 minutes to complete the search. However, once files are downloaded, they are conveniently stored within the app under Downloaded Files . PrintJinni can also print web pages, but the URL must be copied thinkpad t500 battery and pasted from the browser. Since there's no way to print a panel or a clip of the web page, the entire length of the site is printed as a long PDF, which isn't very pleasant to look at once printed.

However, PrintJinni offers a variety of print options, something many printer apps lack. Up to nine copies of a document or photo can be printed in Letter, A4 or A5 paper sizes. Photo orientation can't be changed within the application, but photos can be printed in the A4 paper size or in 3.5 x 5, 4 x 6, 5 x 7, or 8.5 x 11-inch sizes.

iPrint is much more limited than PrintJinni. It only prints pictures stored in the iOS gallery, thinkpad t61 battery and the print options are restricted to a bordered or borderless 4 x 6, 5 x 7, letter, or A4 paper size, which you can choose in the app.

Printer Performance

To test the Artisan 835, we printed one three-page Word document, one three-page color PDF, thinkpad t60 battery and a 926 x 612-pixel photo (on glossy 8.5x11-inch paper) from a notebook over Wi-Fi, via USB, and with the PrintJinni app. Compared to other printers, the Artisan was average in speed but exceptional in quality. Over Wi-Fi, the above files printed in 35 seconds, 46 seconds, thinkpad t60p battery and 3 minutes and 15 seconds, respectively. The HP Photosmart C510a printed Word documents in a faster 24 seconds, but the Kodak ESP C310 printed a photo the fastest, taking just 2:03; however, it can only print at a max resolution of 600 x 600 dpi.

Print speeds over USB were faster with the exception of the Word document, which finished in a slower 38 seconds. The PDF was finished in 35, thinkpad r60 battery and the high-quality photo in a quick 1:11, the fastest photo speed of any printer over any connection.

Using the PrintJinni app on our iPod touch, the Epson finished a 4 x 6 print in 27 seconds, faster than the Kodak ESP C310 (39 seconds) thinkpad r60e battery and the Canon Pixma MG6120 (35 seconds) and far better than the HP Photosmart (1:05 using AirPrint). The Epson Artisan 835 finished printing a Word document via PrintJinni in 36 seconds and a PDF in 43 seconds. Epson's iPrint app was equally fast, printing a 4 x 6 photo in 27 seconds.

Do you know the case of the Aspire 5253

The case of the Aspire 5253 is suited for mobile use. Hands feel good on the matte and structured surface. Fingerprints don't stand a chance. The only weak spot is the black reflective display frame, which is prone to scratching (see Webcam photo).(VGP-BPS9/S ,VGP-BPS9/B,VGP-BPS9A/B,VGP-BPS9 )

The case is stable and gives a durable impression. We were only able to bend the base unit marginally with VGP-BPS13 both hands. The base of the keyboard does however give way with VGP-BPS13A/B a little pressure on the left side. The lid could only be bent a small amount, but the rigid and the grippy surface give a stable impression. The grippy structure once again provides for good daily suitability, even without a Notebook bag.

The hinges hold the display in place very well, vgp-bps13b/q without any teetering. They are rigid, and hence two hands are required to open the display. The hinges themselves are firmly attached to the rest of the chassis. The maximum opening angle for use on the lap is more than enough, and is about 160 degrees.

Input Devices

Keyboard

The keys have a clear pressure point and a medium key travel. Depending on the position the end stop is however a little on the soft side (left and right), or firm (middle). The keys clearly give way on the left and right sides, which provides for a bouncy typing sensation. The arrow keys are only half the size Latitude D420 Battery of normal letter keys, but at least separated by a small space from the shift key. This makes "blind" operation easier.

Touchpad

The mouse replacement is an Elan-Smart pad. Its surface is smooth and can be operated easily and accurately. The touch-surface has markings for a vertical scroll bar.

The keys give a relatively loud clicking sound, although this is quite muffled. The pressure point doesn't require much force, vgp-bps13s and gives good feedback. Altogether the pad is sensitive up to the edges and makes a good impression, although the button travel is too short and the buttons are too deep in a depression, for the perfect office touchpad.

Early iPad 2 GPU,Sony VGP-BPS13a/b Akku

The folks over at AnandTech have run some preliminary performance tests on the Sony VGP-BPS9/S Akku iPad 2, specifically on its PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU by Imagination Technologies, and compared it to what the original iPad and Motorola Xoom have to offer. In short, Motorola isn’t going to be very pleased with the results.

GLBenchmark 2.0 was the program of choice in Sony VGP-BPS9/B Akku order to test the OpenGL API performance of the three tablets in question. Various graphical properties such as texture, lighting, shadows, and anti-aliasing were put to the test on each one. In all cases, the iPad 2 outperformed the Xoom by a surprising margin, over 3 times in some cases. It is important to note, however, that the Xoom runs at a higher screen resolution at 1280x800 compared to the 1024x768 resolution of the iPad 2, so the graphics workload on the Xoom can be more demanding due to the higher pixel count.

The difference in raw graphics power, at least according to these benchmark tests, is fairly shocking given the pricing structure Sony VGP-BPS9 Akku of the two tablets. For as low as $500, the iPad 2 will give the Xoom some serious competition if buyers are looking for a tablet with superior graphics capabilities. Fortunately, these raw tests do not necessarily indicate better and smoother performance across the board on the iPad 2. Apps that are optimized for the Android OS and the Tegra 2 APU may still show good performance on the Motorola Xoom.

The graphics power of the Xoom is provided by Nvidia’s dual-core Tegra 250 APU running at 1GHz. Sony VGP-BPS9A/B Akku The Tegra 2 platform is also be found in some recent tablets, such as the Acer Iconia Tab A500 and upcoming Asus Eee Pad Transformer. Hopefully, these tablets will have improved performance to better match the graphics power of Apple’s latest tablet offering.

he situation is looking quite gloomy for Motorola’s latest tablet offering. The Xoom has been criticized for its high price, gotten into some legal troubles, and shipped with no initial hardware support for 4G LTE. Now, sales of the Xoom so far may not be what Motorola was hoping for.

Analyst Peter Misek claims Xoom sales have been “underwhelming” Sony VGP-BPS9A/S Akku and that the device has been “a bit buggy and did not meet the magic price point of $500.” He continues to cite the inability of the Xoom to match the wholesale pricing structure of the recently launched iPad 2 as a reason for the poor sales performance.

Fortunately for the Xoom, Flash 10.2 should be coming soon through OTA updates, something many Apple users may be envy Sony VGP-BPS13a/b Akku of. Motorola will have to make its next move fast, however, or else the Xoom may find itself severely overshadowed by the impending success of the iPad 2.

The Motorola Xoom is currently available for $800 with a 2-year data contract under a cellular network or $600 for a Wi-Fi only model.

The recent Sendai earthquake measuring about 8.9 on the Richter scale and the subsequent massive tsunami have unfortunately left its mark on some of Japan’s major electronics factories.

Sony could be one of the hardest hit tech companies, as TechEye is reporting evacuations Sony VGP-BPS13 Akku from up to six factories in Northeastern Japan. These facilities were responsible for manufacturing laser diodes found in laptop and computer disc drives. Sony will be looking at the affects of the outages and damages before considering the next appropriate action, a company spokesperson told Business Week.

Good news,There is 15 Ways to Extend Your Laptop’s Battery Life

In my opinion, most people have laptop, and they want to choose a good VGP-BPS9/S battery for their laptops. They want to know how to extend their battery life

Laptops tend to lose their charm quickly when you’re constantly looking for the nearest power outlet to charge up. How do you keep your battery going for as long as possible? Here are 15 easy ways to do so.

1. Defrag regularly - The faster your hard drive does its work – less demand you are going to put on the hard drive and your VGP-BPS9A/B battery. Make your hard drive as efficient as possible by defragging it regularly. (but not while it’s on battery of course!) Mac OSX is better built to handle fragmentation so it may not be very applicable for Apple systems.

2. Dim your screen – Most laptops come with the ability to dim your laptop screen. Some even come with ways to modify CPU and cooling performance. Cut them down to the lowest level you can tolerate to squeeze out some extra battery juice.

3. Cut down on programs running in the background. Itunes, Desktop Search, etc. All these add to the CPU load and cut down battery life. Shut down everything that isn’t crucial when you’re on VGP-BPS9/B battery.

4. Keep operating temperature down - Your laptop VGP-BPS9 operates more efficiently when it’s cooler. Clean out your air vents with a cloth or keyboard cleaner, or refer to some extra tips by LapTopMag.com.

5. Set up and optimize your power options – Go to ‘Power Options’ in your windows control panel and set it up so that power usage is optimized (Select the ‘max battery’ for maximum effect).

6. Don’t multitask – Do one thing at a time when you’re on battery. Rather than working on a spreadsheet, letting your email client run in the background and listening to your latest set of MP3′s, set your mind to one thing only. If you don’t you’ll only drain out your VGP-BPS13 batteries before anything gets completed!

7. Go easy on the PC demands – The more you demand from your PC. Passive activities like email and word processing consume much less power than gaming or playing a DVD. If you’ve got a single VGP-BPS13A/B battery charge – pick your priorities wisely.

8. Get yourself a more efficient laptop - Laptops are getting more and more efficient in nature to the point where some manufacturers are talking about all day long vgp-bps13b/q batteries. Picking up a newer more efficient laptop to replace an aging one is usually a quick fix.

9. Cut down external devices – USB devices (including your mouse) & WiFi drain down your laptop vgp-bps13a/q battery. Remove or shut them down when not in use. It goes without saying that charging other devices (like your iPod) with your laptop when on battery is a surefire way of quickly wiping out the charge on your laptop battery.

10. Add more RAM - This will allow you to process more with the memory your laptop has, rather than relying on virtual memory. Virtual memory results in hard drive use, and is much less power efficient. Note that adding more RAM will consume more energy, so this is most applicable if you do need to run memory intensive programs which actually require heavy usage of virtual memory.

11. Run off a hard drive rather than CD/DVD - As power consuming as hard drives are, CD and DVD drives are worse. Even having one in the drive can be power consuming. They spin, taking power, even when they?re not actively being used. Wherever possible, try to run on virtual drives using programs like Alcohol 120% rather than optical ones.

Imation Defender F200 (16GB),VGP-BPS22A

When it comes to USB drives, heed this warning: They are very easy to lose. VGP-BPS13AS But the $210 Patriot Memory Supersonic's USB 3.0 performance is so shockingly fast that you'll likely end up treating this small 64GB device like a precious jewel. Design

We used the drive in a few extra devices, including a Sony PlayStation 3. In copying several photos, the drive worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, Patriot doesn't include any backup software, but we performed a backup using Windows 7's built-in tools VGP-BPS13/S without any trouble. Value

On a per-GB basis, the Patriot drive is very affordable. The 64GB model costs $210, which comes out to $3.30 per GB (a 32GB version costs $112). By comparison, the Echo MX (128GB, $500) costs $3.90 per GB, and the Imation Defender costs $269 for just 16GB, a whopping $16.80 per GB. Of course, the Echo MX has a digital capacity VGP-BPS13S meter and the Imation has a fingerprint reader, so you're paying extra for those features. Verdict VGP-BPS13/Q

For those who only need a durable drive that can transfer data at blazing speeds, the 64GB VGP-BPS13B/S Patriot Memory Supersonic is a great device. While we wish Patriot included backup software, the performance and price can't be beat. VGP-BPS13B/Q

The Imation Defender F200 is one of the most secureand most expensiveUSB drives we've tested. At $269 for just 16GB of storage, this peripheral attempts to justify its premium with an ultra-rugged design and a built-in fingerprint reader that promises to protect sensitive VGP-BPS22A files. Is it worth the splurge? Design

Despite lacking USB 3.0 support, the Defender F200 is fast. We copied a 5GB folder full of media files and Word documents to VGP-BPS22 the drive in 5 minutes 46 seconds, which equals a read speed of 14.8 MBps. That's faster than both the Lexar Echo MX (13.9 MBps) and the SanDisk Ultra Backup (9.8 MBps). Still, the USB 3.0-powered Patriot Memory Supersonic (41.3 MBps) blows all of these drives away.

Copying the same files off the F200 took 4:07, which yields a read speed of 20.7 Mbps. That's in VGP-BPS21B between the Lexar Echo MX (24.4 MBps) and the SanDisk Ultra Backup (18 MBps). Still, the Patriot Memory drive took just 55 seconds for a blazing rate of 93.1MBps.

Sony VAIO F Series,VGP-BPS21

There are notebooks made for travel, and there are notebooks made for Sony VGP-BPS9/S Battery entertainment. Sony's latest VAIO F (VPC-F136FM/B) falls in the latter camp. Boasting a high-resolution, 16.4-inch widescreen, the latest Core i7 processor, robust NVIDIA GeForce 3D graphics, and even a Blu-ray drive, the VAIO F ($1,299 at Best Buy) offers plenty to love. Meant for users who often roam from room to room, the VAIO F provides lots of computing Sony VGP-BPS9/B Battery power and multimedia prowess minus the size of a traditional desktop rig. Still, $1,299 is nothing to sneeze at. Check out the full review below as we delve into this machine's strengths and weaknesses to help you decide if it's worth the splurge. Design

Design-wise, the Sony VAIO F plays a very conservative game. Our model's chassis sports a smooth, matte gray lid, Sony VGP-BPS9A/B Battery with the only embellishment being the understated Sony branding and larger VAIO logo writ in metallic silver. Weighing in at a hefty 6.4 pounds, the VAIO F has a decidedly sturdy feel to it. Measuring 15.3 x 10.4 x 1.6 inches, the VAIO F can be stuffed into most laptop bags. However, this laptop's girth will make you think twice about lugging it anywhere for long. Sony VGP-BPS9 Battery That said, the VAIO F is lighter than other desktop-replacement laptops on the market, such as the HP Envy 17 (7.5 pounds).

When we watched a downloaded episode of 30 Rock Sony VGP-BPS13 Battery from Samsung's Media Hub store, we were impressed with the detail. The display provided strong viewing angles even in bright light or outdoors. Keyboards

Samsung bundles the Galaxy Tab with two virtual keyboards, its own and one from Swype. Because this tablet is narrower than the iPad, we found it much easier to enter text without stretching our fingers all the way across the screen.

Still, we made quite a few errors, where we accidentally hit the wrong key, particularly in portrait mode. We appreciated that @ and .com Sony VGP-BPS13A/Q Battery keys showed up when we typed in an e-mail address field, and that the .com button was present when typing URLs in the browser. A welcome optional predictive text feature suggests words as you type.

With the Swype keyboard option, you can quickly enter text by drawing a continuous line from Sony VGP-BPS13A/B Battery letter to letter, and the software is smart enough to enter spaces between words. Plus, you can easily tap things such as periods and special keys in this mode. It's definitely worth a try.

Unlike the iPad, the Galaxy tab offers haptic Sony VGP-BPS13/B Battery feedback so you can get a simulated tactile feel while you're typing. If you don't like this feature, you can turn it off, but if you love it, you can adjust the level of vibration up or down, something most Android phones don't offer.

SanDisk Ultra Backup 8GB

According to Bloomberg, Sprint and Deutsche Telekom AG are chatting about the sony vgp-bps13s Battery the possibility of a merger between Sprint and T-Mobile USA. While neither company will directly comment on this rumor, Bloomberg says anonymous sources have confirmed that on-and-off talks are underway.

Sprint and T-Mobile are third and fourth, respectively, in the U.S. behind Verizon and AT&T. T-Mobile lost customers last quarter, which is making it difficult for Sprint to determine how much the U.S. branch of Deutsche Telekom is sony vgp-bps13/s Battery worth.

When we copied files back to the Samsung laptop using the USB 3.0 port, the Patriot took only 55 seconds, for a blazing write speed of 93.1MBps. sony vgp-bps13a/s Battery That's about four times as fast as the next fastest drive, the USB 2.0 Lexar Echo MX, which took 3:30, a rate of 24.4 MBps.

We used the drive in a few extra devices, including a Sony PlayStation 3. In copying several photos, the drive worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, Patriot doesn't include any backup software, but we performed a backup using Windows 7's built-in tools without any trouble.

On a per-GB basis, the Patriot drive is very affordable. The 64GB model costs $210, which sony vgp-bps13as Battery comes out to $3.30 per GB (a 32GB version costs $112). By comparison, the Echo MX (128GB, $500) costs $3.90 per GB, and the Imation Defender costs $269 for just 16GB, a whopping $16.80 per GB. Of course, the Echo MX has a digital capacity meter and the Imation has a fingerprint reader, so you're paying extra for those features. Verdict

While a merger would collectively strengthen their sony vgp-bps13b/b Battery marketplace position, it could be a technological nightmare. Sprint runs over CDMA and WiMax while T-Mobile uses GSM and HSPA+. Meanwhile, Deutsche Telekom is entertaining all available options for T-Mobile, including buying wireless spectrum from Clearwire to help boost their 4G network coverage.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard chatter about Sprint and T-Mobile joining forces and it probably won’t be the last. We’ve also heard talk of Sprint possibly dropping WiMax for LTE, so perhaps that could figure into this deal as well. Stay tuned.

In jedem Fall ist,Akku dell Vostro 1000

Above the screen is the laptop's 1.3-megapixel webcam, which can record video at VGP-BPS9/S resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. It was sharper than the usual VGA cameras found in low-cost portables, and we observed good image quality on Skype calls--even if colors were a bit muted.

There are a number of technologies for wirelessly outputting your notebook's display to a larger TV, including Intel's WiDi. But WiDi doesn't yet handle copy-protected content, such as Blu-ray movies. And the technology still suffers from VGP-BPS9/B latency, which means no gaming. Enter HP's Wireless TV Connect. This accessory uses a competing technology, called wireless HDMI, to stream anything from your laptop to your big screen without the lag. Is that power and added versatility worth $199?

Design The Wireless TV Connect consists of two boxesa transmitter and receiverone of which hooks up to your notebook, and the VGP-BPS9 other to a TV or projector. Unlike the ASUS WiCast EW2000, which has a smaller transmitter, both boxes are the same size (4.5 x 4.1 x 1) and VGP-BPS9A/B are made of a glossy black plastic. It's a lot more cumbersome than the Warpia StreamHD, which only requires a small USB dongle.

The transmitter has an HDMI port and USB port, while the receiver has HDMI, USB, and a power port. The front of each box has two LEDs: a white one indicates it's on, and a blue light indicates it's connected. Both also have small reset VGP-BPS13 buttons.

The 15.6-inch display (1366 x 768 pixels) on the Aspire 5253 was fine for viewing Hulu or YouTube videos and DVD movies, VGP-BPS13a/b but colors and black levels weren't spectacular. Viewing angles were average, with image quality and brightness dropping off at 40 degrees off-axis.

The laptop's single speaker, located above the keyboard, didn't impress. It pumped out loud but tinny and abrasive sound devoid of any low end.
